Health Records Application

A large retailer asked me to help them conceptualize an application to leverage electronic health data from their insurance provider(s) to provide in-store management with a snapshot of employees that would not be at work for medical reasons.

The Gulch

Nashville's Gulch Business Improvement District (GBID), the organization charged with maintaining one of the city's hippest neighborhoods, approached me to establish a definitive brand identity and a new digital experience.

Isabella Graham

The artist Isabella Graham approached me to help conceptualize an identity, aesthetic, look, feel and strategy: for him as an artist and for his music as an experience.

Airvel

I worked with Airvel to help them hone their product strategy, leverage competitive and user research to narrow their feature set and lead the design of their initial product offering from prototype to product.

Southern Angel

A supplier approached me and asked me to research, conceptualize and design a new vodka brand for its portfolio. The result: Southern Angel--a vodka designed for the rock star in all of us.

Education
I created Vanderbilt University's first interdisciplinary program in the nexus of behavioral economics, psychology, neuroscience, marketing and product design. I believe a deep understanding of the relationships between these things is an essential path to creating the best products in the world. Products are (usually) for people, after all.
